Our Team
Our crew is not only comprised of experienced, native Chesapeake watermen, but also certified practitioners in the Japanese practice of ike jime. We understand the seasonal patterns and the methods necessary to ensure a successful fishing trip on the Bay, but we are also technical experts on the most current ike jime and shinkei jime methods in the world.
Ryan Loetz
Ryan Loetz is a Kent Island native and highly experienced sports angler and crabber. He has deep knowledge of the Chesapeake Bay, its native species (aquatic and otherwise), and the fishing communities in the region who depend on the Chesapeake Bay for their survival.
Ryan attained the level of Ike Jime Master in December 2020, and he continues to train other commercial anglers and some of the most discriminating chefs in the world.
